For those interested to apply for studies in RomaniaOur Embassy has placed on its site the informations one would need in order to apply for studies in Romania or for continuing at differetnt levels.We remind you that the applications for the studies for foreign citizens through the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Romania (HG 288/1993) should be placed at our mission not later than the 15-th of April 2009
INFORMATION AND METHODOLGY
The Romanian higher education system is administered by the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation (MECI) functioning in keeping with current national legislation (http://www.edu.ro/).
It is organized on three cycles of under and post graduate studies:- First cycle (licenta) corresponding to bachelor degree- 2nd cycle (master) specialization corresponding to master’s degree- 3rd cycle doctorate corresponding to doctor’s degree PHDThe Division of Cultural, Educational and Scientific Relations (DRCES) of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) cooperates with the MECI in organizing the educational exchanges and the continuation of the university education.
